Love Until it Hurts!

Good Morning All,

What a beautiful Friday morning this is! Today is the beginning of a new day where all things are new and shining.

"The future starts today, not tomorrow"  ( Pope John Paul II )

This happens to be my first day at my "BIG GIRL JOB" woo hoo! God has granted me the ability to move to New York and learn and be changed and transformed into more of His likeness, as well as bless me with the provision of a job that is wonderful and that I love!

I want you to each know that you are loved by God and that He has given you a divine calling to hope in the One who is true, noble, and valuable. He loves you and loves loving you in beautiful and romantic ways. One way I believe God loves us is by giving us a hope that is beyond what our human bodies can handle.

"Once we recognize our need for Jesus, then the building of our faith begins. It is a daily, moment-by-moment life of absolute dependence upon Him for everything"  ( Catherine Marshall )

I want you to think deeply of the people you love in your life. I have to dedicate this next one, not only for you, but to a few of my dearest friends. Best friends are the sisters God gives us as the breathe of fresh air, the laughter to our jokes, the hope for the doubting, the cheers for the success, and the life to our days. Friends give you a hope in yourself and in the world that is a love that is beyond anything but Godly. God granted us a life of love, joy, and peace. All of these are within the loving boundaries of friendship.

Holly Bancroft, Laurie Martino, Kendall Crosson, Michelle Dean, Ashton Paredez, Jordan Kirkpatrick, Ramzy Coleman, Samantha Berry, and many many more are amazing women of God who love the Lord and who strive to be better than they were the day before. They make me a better person just by knowing them. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many more amazing women of God here in New York who have shown me the true joy of loving the Lord well and hoping for what is to come. I love these girls with all of my heart, and there is a rare gem in these women that God has cut and shaped for all the world to see. They shine with love, joy, and hope.

They have all loved me well in times of struggle, and in times of hope and new beginnings. I don't get to see all these women as much as I used to, and that is just life as we know it for now. For forever they will hold a dear and special place in my heart that no one can replace or take away. God gives us this love for the joy of knowing friendship, when you understand friendship, you understand God better.

I want you to know something,

"God gave us a life of love, joy, and beauty in the lives of friends. He gave you to women that you call sisters to encourage you, uplift you, and hold you when you can't hold yourself. God is our best friend and He loves us so much that He gives us an image of Himself in the friends around us. God loves you and desires you to love others well. Love because you were loved and because God loves to lavish His love on you, through you, around you, and for you. Love because God first loved you. God's love is beyond the realms of what we can fathom, but we are not incapable of loving as much as He loves, or at least trying. Love because you can not because you feel you "have to." Love is a gift that is given and received without question from God, so don't question the love from or for others. He has called you to love, so love out of your heart and watch as the wellspring of life is overwhelmed with the joy of the Lord. Lord God Almighty is love. Love because you Love Him. You are the called, the chosen, and the beautiful. The righteous walk and hope in love, and the wicked run away from love for fear of the light that shines when love is apart of all you do. So let the wicked run, and let the righteous dance in the light."

I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.
Mother Teresa

Love until it hurts my friends! God loves you today, always, and forever and... so do I!

Love being Loved

It's that time of the year when the stores begin stocking red, pink, and a bit of white! It's that time of the year when I will be attending/participating in one of my best friends wedding this weekend and many more throughout the year! It's also happens to be that time of my life when my Facebook sees more engagements, marriages, and new relationships than the Lifetime channel. :)

I say all this to begin a blog series about certain people in my life that have impacted and inspired me and given me a joy and love that is deeper than any ocean. Some of these people are still in my life and some have since passed their season of love, but that doesn't gleam them any less of important.

I thank the Lord for the grace to admit that I can't always understand these relationships, but that these relationships give my life understanding.

Love is a very beautiful and important feeling, emotion, and part of life. It deems to me to be more important than most things we strive for on a daily basis. If the men and women I passed everyday on the streets of NYC would strive more to improve the love they have for their husbands/wives and families than the striving they did for the next dollar, this world might see less divorces and more marriages.

My heart yearns for a love that is perfectly imperfect, beautifully
spectacular, and gracefully abundant.

First and foremost, with my relationship with the creator of Love. He has given me a love that is rooted so deep that nobody can take away from me. He's the one who holds me when the tears fall, chuckles at me when my laughter is so loud and boisterous people are staring, and the one who promises to fulfill the desires of my heart that He only knows. Its the man on the Cross who loved deeper, better, and more perfectly than any of us could ever strive to do. I pray for this love, but more than this I am grateful that I am loved like this.

Second, my mother. This women will be the first person I recognize on this blog series. She's the women who gave birth to me, raised me to be the woman I am, and who has sacrificed far more than I will ever know or understand. She clings to the truth of our Savior and holds fast to the promise of kindness, gentleness, and abundant patience. She's not only a teacher or mother, shes my best friend, my advice giver, my listener, and the one who will always hold the dearest place in my heart. She's the rare gem I was born from and I am blessed to be loved like this.

It's the story of love, life, and the pursuit of learning more and more about it everyday. I want each of you to know you are loved, adored, and favored. I pray you thank the Lord for the people in your life that you love and who love you.

Love is beautifully, spectacularly perfect. We are the imperfect ones who can change and alter the effects and conditions of it all; don't be the one striving for the things that don't last, cling to love.
I love being loved like this, I pray you are too...
